In connection with the implementation of EU decision* 2022/346, the sale of euro banknotes to an individual or legal entity, organization or body located in Russia or for their use in Russia is prohibited.
The prohibition shall not apply to the sale, supply, transfer or export of euro denominated banknotes provided that such sale, supply, transfer or export is necessary for the personal use of natural persons travelling to Russia or members of their immediate families travelling with them or the official purposes of diplomatic missions, consular posts or international organisations in Russia enjoying immunities in accordance with international law.
Based on the above, when withdrawing cash at a branch, if you plan to use the euro in Russia, please fill out the appropriate confirmation.
