Dear Client
TBB pank is planning to initiate a voluntary liquidation process in January 2025. Once approval is granted, the banking license will be revoked, and the Bank will no longer be authorized to provide financial services.
All client deposits will be returned in full, including term deposits along with the interest accrued by that time. After the banking license is revoked, the return of deposits may be delayed as standard payment systems may cease to operate. This may cause some inconvenience for clients.
To avoid this, we offer the following alternatives:
- Transfer Your funds to another credit institution yourself via online banking or at the TBB pank office.
- If You have a term deposit, You can arrange the early termination of the deposit agreement via internet banking or submit an application at the TBB pank office during business hours or send a digitally signed application to helpdesk@tbb.ee. In this case, You can transfer the funds placed in the deposit, along with accrued interest, to another credit institution.
- You can submit the payment order and account closing application along with the account details at another credit institution located in Estonia or the European Economic Area, either at the TBB pank office during business hours or as a digitally signed application sent to helpdesk@tbb.ee. Additionally, you can provide the details of your current account in the internet banking system under the Configurations – Client data section.
Due to the upcoming voluntary liquidation, TBB pank kindly asks clients to transfer their funds to another financial institution no later than January 31, 2025.
If You do not have an account at another credit institution, You may withdraw the deposit amount in person at the TBB pank office. If the accumulated amount exceeds €5,000, please notify us in advance by emailing helpdesk@tbb.ee, so we can ensure the required amount of cash is available.
The Bank reports regularly to the Financial Supervision Authority on preparations for liquidation.
