We hereby inform you that on April 14, 2025, AS TBB pank received approval from the Estonian Financial Supervision Authority to voluntarily cease operations.
With the issuance of this approval, AS TBB pank’s banking license has expired, along with the right of its subsidiary, AS TBB Liising, to operate as a credit provider. The decision by the Financial Supervision Authority also grants AS TBB pank the right to begin voluntary liquidation.
On April 15, 2025, a general meeting of the bank’s shareholders will take place, with the agenda including the termination of AS TBB pank’s operations and the initiation of liquidation proceedings.
AS TBB pank has already actively informed its clients and partners about the intention to liquidate. This is a voluntary decision based on the bank’s own strategic choice.
TBB pank is no longer providing financial services. This also means that TBB pank can no longer use standard payment systems.
As of April 15, 2025, you will be able to view your account balance in the internet bank, but you will no longer be able to make transactions independently. Bank cards linked to accounts will also stop working as of this date.
Information for clients whose funds remain in TBB pank
TBB pank confirms that although payment systems will cease to function as of April 15, 2025, you will still receive all your funds in full.
To do so, TBB pank requests that you submit an account closing application along with the account details at another credit institution, no later than April 21, 2025, either at the TBB pank office during business hours or as a digitally signed application sent to helpdesk@tbb.ee. Additionally, you can provide the details of your current account in the internet banking system under the Configurations – Client data section.
If you do not have an account at another credit institution, you may withdraw the deposit amount in person at the TBB pank office until April 21, 2025. If the deposited amount exceeds €5,000, please notify in advance so the bank can ensure the required amount of cash is available.
If you do not submit an account closing application with account details to TBB pank by April 21, 2025, TBB pank will transfer your funds to a notary’s deposit account, and you will be informed separately. In this case, you will need to collect your funds from the notary. Please note that notaries do not process cash payments.
TBB pank emphasizes that since this is a voluntary liquidation, the Guarantee Fund procedure does not apply. However, TBB pank guarantees that it has sufficient funds to meet all obligations to clients and will return all deposits independently.
