Mobile-ID manual

Mobile-ID – a service of mobile operator, through what a person shall be identified, or any e-documents may be confirmed by a digital signature.

By utilizing Mobile-ID a customer has the opportunity to perform the same operations that he performs while using his ID-card; the limits on transfers are the same as when using the ID-card.

 

For Mobile-ID using is necessary to:

Firstly, make an agreement on Mobile-ID using with your mobile operator. When making the agreement, a customer’s SIM card is replaced for a new one that supports the Mobile-ID service. The replacement of a SIM card is paid in accordance with a mobile operator’s current price list.

Secondly, activate the service after The Agreement on joining to Mobile-ID service has been made. To do this, log in with your ID card at the following address: http://politsei.ee/en/teenused/isikut-toendavad-dokumendid/mobiil-id/ on the web-page of Estonian Police and Border Guard Board by clicking on «Enter the application environment»

Further, you should follow instructions on the screen.

You can start using Mobile-ID immediately after its activation.

 

Mobile-ID certificate information:

Only a customer can apply for the use of Mobile-ID service; it is not allowed to apply through a representative.

Mobile-ID certificates have a 3-year validity.

To receive Mobile-ID certificates with a state guarantee it is allowed to apply only by electronic means.

 

To log on to the internet banking of TBB pank with Mobile-ID

Open the homepage of TBB pank

Click on the Internet Bank link

Enter the user ID and click on «Mobile-ID».

You will receive a personal code, sent by the bank on your mobile phone. 

The same code will be displayed on the page of internet bank. 

Make sure that entry codes are the same.

In case of matching, confirm your consent to log in by entering Mobile-ID PIN1
