TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DOMESTIC PAYMENTS

Incoming payment orders in Estonian The Bank of Estonia is exchanging payment orders among the Estonian banks 9 times a day, every hour since 09.15 till 17.15.
Payment orders in Estonian kroons coming from other Estonian banks are carried out on the same day when the money has arrived to the bank and the money is transferred to the customer’s account.
In case all beneficiary requisites are correct, payment order is automatically carried out.
If beneficiary requisites are not correct, the payment order is returned to the remitter’s bank.
Urgent payments in Estonian kroons coming from other Estonian banks are effected within 15-30 minutes the money being transferred into the beneficiary’s account.

Outgoing payment orders in Estonian kroons
- All payments inside the bank are carried out immediately.
- Ordinary payments are effected under ESTA system 9 times a day (every hour) since 08.30 till 16.30
- Domestic payments in Estonian kroons are carried out on the same day if the customer has submitted the payment order to the bank prior to 16.00
- The payment order submitted by a customer to the bank later, after 16.00, is carried out on the next banking day (Saturday, Sunday and holidays are not considered to be a banking day)
- Urgent domestic payment order to be made in Estonian kroons is effected within 15-30 minutes in case the payment order has been submitted by the customer before 17.00
- In case an urgent domestic payment order has been submitted by the customer after 17.00, it is carried out in the morning on the next banking day (Saturday,Sunday and holidays are not considered to be a banking day)
